ETRI Journal is an international, peer-reviewed multidisciplinary journal published bimonthly in English. ETRI Journal was established in 1979 and originally published in Korean, under the name Telecommunications Technology. Since our first English issue in 1993, ETRI Journal has served as one of the leading electronics and telecommunications journals in Korea, and our international readership has since grown significantly. In April 1998, ETRI Journal became the first Korean journal in the field of electronics and telecommunications to be included in the SCI Journal list.

Aims and Scope

Key topics of interest include high-performance computing, big data analytics, cloud computing, multimedia technology, communication networks and services, wireless communications and mobile computing, material and component technology, as well as security.

With an international editorial committee and experts from around the world as reviewers, ETRI Journal publishes high-quality research papers on the latest and best developments from the global community.

ETRI Journal is indexed by Science Citation Index, SciSearch, SCOPUS, DOAJ, INSPEC Database, Ei Compendex, Dialog Source One/Engineering, and/or Aerospace & High Technology Database.

Call for Papers

Special Issue - Digital Holographic 3D Imaging: Capture, Display, and Evaluation

Holography has long been regarded as one of the most ideal three-dimensional (3D) imaging technology.The aim of this special issue is to describe the state of the art in digital holographic 3D imaging itself and relevant areas, which includes capture, display, and evaluation technologies. The CFP welcomes original contributions representing the current state of research and current trends. Also, papers revealing the transversal and multidisciplinary nature of digital holographic 3D imaging will be appreciated.

Special Issue - Internet of Medical Things for Healthcare Applications

Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) is an amalgamation of medical devices and applications that can connect to healthcare information technology (IT) systems using networking technologies. IoMT will promote personalized care and higher standards of care and living through individual data-driven treatment regimens as well as optimized devices tailored to individual physiological requirements
The goal of this special issue is to present the state-of-the-art research and applications in utilizing IoMT enabled technology for healthcare systems.
