4K UHD and Mobile HD Broadcasting with Single Channel
ETRI has become the first in the world to developan LDM(Layered Division Multiplexing)-basednext-generation terrestrial broadcasting systemthat can provide 4K UHD and mobile HD broadcasting through single transmitter and single channel.Jointly developed with Clever Logic,this new technology was openly demonstratedin a presentation on the resultsof the ATSC 3.0 LDM field test.This achievement helps not onlycut broadcasting costs, but also to efficientlyutilize frequency resources, a part of public goods.
