As our systems of interest go complex and probabilistic, the Robust Systems Engineering (RSE) is extremely important to develop autonomous and intelligent systems and make them reliable and stable.
In the first half an hour, I will introduce a high-level concept of my RSE to develop autonomous and intelligent systems from a big picture of smart future. It recapitulates the Bayesian formalism and worldview to endeavor the intuition and insight of the world including any system of interest. My RSE integrates robust statistical inference and systems engineering practices for sustainable quality control and management of research and development. Basically, I will talk about Engineering of Everything (cf. Theory of Everything).
In the second half an hour, I will show you my RSE practices in my past research and development experience including my transdisciplinary educational background. Those research and development include image processing, computer vision, robot control, and sensor design in various applications including space technologies. In particular, I applied the robust formalism and systematic approaches for all systems of interest to identify and solve their mathematical and technical problems.
I hope that my talk will not only introduce myself concisely and completely to the audience but also inspire them to take more systematic and robust approaches to both their R&D at work and personal interests.
